GRAND FINAL 2025
Well, they done it PITTY 1 are our ultimate winners and a big congratulations to all the team. STEVE, JOHN, ROBERTO, LLOYD, PHIL and TOM. You did not fault from the beginning to the end of the competition, although I am told last night was a BLINDER and PITTY 2 (your archrivals) certainly gave you a run for your money, as well as I am told, a big scare. PITTY 2 played their hearts out and actually were the first team to take our champions to a TEAM GAME. WELL DONE and COMMISERATIONS TO BRAD, SIMON, MICHAEL, PETER, ADRIAN and GABS. You tried, and you almost got there, but what a game. Both teams are an absolute credit to the game, and it is a shame we had to have a loser.
For B GRADE it was the battle of the TIMO. There game also went to a team’s game, again showing the calibre of the two teams. Well done to TIMO 1, DAVID, ANDY, PHIL, and WILL on your 9-8 win over TIMO 2 and commiserations to DRILLER, JOHNNY, JIM, JACK and MYKELL you all tried your hardest, but it was not to be. Great result for two great teams.
For C GRADE it was the MANLY 3 team, SAM, BRENDON, ROB and THOMAS who got the better of BUILDERS 2, LES, RITA, AUSTEN and JUSTIN. Manly finished with a 10-2 score. Well done to MANLY 2 and commiserations to BUILDERS 2 although it was nice to see your name in the finals.
It is very important to remember that win or lose everyone who played last night deserved to be there. So, congratulations to EVERYONE.
Individual winners for the finals just show what players we have. First for our A Grade players. Would you believe in the Pitty game there were 5 180’s thrown. 2 went to our ITALIAN STALLION ROBERTO, apparently one was his first throw in the teams game, which as you can imagine was not what Pitty 2 wanted to see. But well done Roberto, this brough your tally up to 7. PHIL THE MACHINE also had his first 180 and HOT SHOT JOHN his second 180 as well as an 89-BULL finish. On the other side of the sheet it was BUTCHER BRAD who has his name in lights. With all the accolades this man has received during this comp, when it mattered most he has his 1st 180 as well as his 2nd 14 darter. For the B Grade it was CHECK OUT JACK for TIMO 2 who had his second 180, while for C Grade it was the MONSTER BRENDON who not only had his 4th 180 but also a 15 darter to top the night off. Well done to everyone.
Just a few dates to remember. First the BUILDERS EXTRAVAZANZA which is being held this SATURDAY the 22ND at the BUILDERS CLUB. It was great last year and this year it promises to be even better. 10.30 open for registration and AM is doubles on the 5’s board, the PM will be singles. Bring your gold coins which you will need for the great raffles. Then on the 2nd DECEMBER we have the AGM at the BUILDERS CLUB, which is open to EVERYONE. And finally the PRESENTATION NIGHT on the 6TH DECEMBER, if you have not booked your seat yet it is not too late.
