Hi everyone,

A bit late I know but apologies and I really don’t have any excuses.

At the resent AGM all the committee were voted back in without any opposition, so well done to SIMON (President),  BOWIE (Vice President), JOSH (Secretary), JAMES (Treasure) and myself as Match Secretary.  We did however have a new name put forward for the Trustees and we now welcome BRAD HORTON who has taken the place of DARRYL TWEEDALE due to Darryl having other commitments.    Our current Trustees are now GABBY APRAHAMIAN, ROB SALMON, and BRAD.   On behalf of the committee I would like to thank everyone for putting their trust in us all for another year.

We also had the PRESENTATION NIGHT on Saturday 6th December, and what a night it was.  It was a great success and everyone who attended remarked on how good the good food was and what a great night everyone had.  A big thanks to the MC, ALEX HUNTER who was excellent and apart from having us in stitches with his jokes, he also kept the night rolling.  But an even bigger thanks must go  to JAMES who had to stand in at the very last minute for the DJ and done an even better job.  James was fantastic with the walk on music as well as the great selection at the end where we could all sing along.  The last name we need to mention is JORDAN PEACOCK who was our esteemed photographer  of the night.

On the night it was something very special for one of our long-term members, it was a night when RITA ATHERTON was welcomed as a LIFE MEMBER.  Rita now takes us up to 5 Life Members.  This honour was rewarded due to the length of time Rita has been a member and for all she has done for the NBA, or when Rita joined over 40 years ago, first the Pittwater Darts, then the Manly Warringah Darts.  Rita also worked on the committee of the then Ladies Premier darts.  So a big thank you to Rita for all her contributions and congratulations on your well-earned reward.

The big raffle was also drawn on the night and well done to all our winners, especially DAVID DWYER who won the big prize.  He was really chuffed, and it was fun to see him try to get the prizes in the Uber that night…

I would also like to say a big THANK YOU to our committee, they all work hard behind the scenes to make each competition the success it is, and for all the organisation that made our Presentation Night so successful.  To Simon, well just for being Simon and luckily someone who likes to organise, for Josh, his sidekick for putting things together and for the organization of all the trophies.  Without you both it would not been as good as it was, the only trouble is gentlemen, because it was so good this year what are you going to do next year…….

Now all that is left for me to say to each but to wish everyone of you, a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and I hope Santa brings you all you ask for.  So from a very hot and sunny Albury, I say goodbye till next year.
